Order & Production

The minimum order limit is not applicable; you are free to order any number of boxes that you need.

Production typically takes 8 to 10 business days to complete and dispatch. If you need your order sooner, you can opt for a rush order, which speeds up the process and gets your production completed within 4 to 5 business days.

Yes, you can absolutely order a sample before placing your full order. Once you’re satisfied with the printing quality, we’ll move forward with the complete production!

Printing colors are created by mixing ink, while the colors you see on a screen are produced by light. Additionally, the quality of the material and the printer can influence the final printed result, so it might slightly differ from what you see onscreen.

Yes, you can cancel your order within 4 hours of placing it.

How can I decrease my pricing per unit?

You can get lower prices by increasing your order quantity, as bulk orders often reduce the cost per unit. Pricing is typically determined by the size, shape, and style of your box.

No, you do not have to pay for plates or dies. There are no hidden charges.

Yes, there can be a 25-50% increase in cost depending on the type of packaging. If you’re concerned about your budget, you might consider using unprinted boxes or opting for single-sided printing to reduce expenses.

Yes, it will be more expensive. As a standard, prices are usually quoted based on CMYK printing. If you wish to use Pantone colors, just let us know — our team will be happy to assist you with that!

Yes, it does. You can let them know what you’re looking for, and they will get back to you with the specific costs.

Yes, you can get the dieline template for your custom boxes after placing the order.

CMYK mixes four colors for printing, while Pantone uses specific colors for consistency, ideal for brand logos.

Printing on kraft paper often leads to slightly muted or duller colors compared to white paper. For the best and most striking results, it’s recommended to use black or white ink when printing on kraft material.

What is the thickness of the board you use?

Depending on the box style you purchase with us, you can see all the specifications for the board and paper we use below:

  • Mailer box: E-Flute 32 ECT (200 lbs TEST) – 1/16″ thickness.
  • Rigid Box: 0.50pt board + 80lbs (160m) litho paper – 1/16” thickness total.
  • Shipping Box: B-Flute 32 ECT (200 lbs TEST) – 1/8” thickness.
  • Folding Carton: 14pt, 18pt, 24pt,

Our whiteboard offers a smooth matte white surface on both sides, making it perfect for sharp and vibrant color printing. In contrast, the Kraft board has a natural brown tone on both sides, which can cause colors to appear more muted. However, Kraft board is an ideal choice if you’re aiming for eco-friendly, rustic, and organic-looking packaging.

If you want to print inside any corrugated box styles, we can do so! It includes tuck tops, mailers, and shippers.

Flutes, also known as corrugation, add strength and durability to the cardboard used in packaging. These are wavy, layered lines sandwiched between paperboards to create a corrugated structure. The fluting reinforces the packaging, making it more rigid and better able to resist crushing or pressure during handling and shipping.

Biodegradable packaging breaks down naturally with the help of microorganisms like bacteria and fungi, along with exposure to sunlight. However, the time it takes to fully decompose can vary depending on environmental conditions. In contrast, compostable packaging also decomposes under similar conditions but is designed to break down within a specific timeframe — usually around 90 days — leaving behind no harmful residues.

For most production orders, Packaging Squad uses a combination of digital and offset printing (specifically lithographic printing) to ensure high-quality results. However, we can also accommodate flexographic printing requests when needed. If you have any specific preferences or requirements, feel free to contact us — we’ll be happy to discuss the best solution for your packaging needs!

Offset printing — also known as lithography or lithographic printing — is a popular and highly effective printing method. In this process, the inked image is first transferred from a printing plate to a rubber blanket, and then from the blanket onto the final surface, usually paper or cardboard.

This technique is ideal for producing large volumes of packaging or printed materials, offering outstanding color vibrancy, sharp details, and consistent quality with every print.

Digital printing is mainly used for small-batch or short-run printing projects. Unlike traditional methods that use plates, digital printing works by directly applying the design onto the material using toners or ink cartridges — much like a standard home or office printer.

One important thing to note is that digital printers typically work in CMYK color mode and do not support Pantone spot colors. While digital printing provides decent quality, it may not fully match the sharpness and color consistency of offset printing. However, if you’re working with a tight budget and smaller order quantities, digital printing is a flexible and cost-effective solution.

What is embossing?

The embossing process creates a raised image or design on paper. An embossed logo or text would be slightly raised off the paper by pushing a metal die into the substrate/paper from underneath.

Debossing is the process of creating a depressed or indented image on paper. This is achieved by pressing a metal die into the substrate/paper from above, leaving a subtle indentation.

The foil stamping process, also known as hot stamping, adds a layer of foil film to your material using heat and pressure.

Spot UV, or Spot Ultra Violet, is a unique printing method that applies a glossy, raised coating to select areas of a printed surface.

Soft touch finishes provide a velvety texture to your packaging, enhancing the printed artwork with a smooth, tactile feel. Applied as a varnish or laminate, this finish offers a soft touch sensation. Please note that an additional charge applies for soft-touch finishes.

An aqueous varnish, or aqueous coating, is a very fast-drying, water-based coating used to protect printed materials.

Lamination is the process of applying a transparent plastic film, such as polypropylene, to your printed materials, offering protection and durability. Aqueous varnish, on the other hand, is a water-based coating applied to enhance the appearance and safeguard your printed materials.

Matte finishes give your packaging a softer, smoother appearance, while glossy finishes give it a glossy appearance.
