Description
Custom Burger Boxes
A custom burger box is food-service packaging built to hold and protect a burger during dine-in, takeout, or delivery. It keeps the burger’s shape intact, helps manage grease, and gives your brand a printed presence the moment the box is opened.
Packaging Squad’s custom burger boxes are made to order, so you choose the size, material, and finish that fit your menu and your operation. They’re part of our full line of custom food packaging, so you can match burger boxes with other food-service packaging under one order.
Who Uses Custom Burger Boxes
Restaurants, cafes, food trucks, multi-location chains, fast-food brands, and takeout kitchens use custom burger boxes to protect food in transit and reinforce their branding at the point of pickup or delivery. Whether you’re running a single location or scaling across multiple sites, the same box can be sized and finished to match your menu. Choosing the Right Burger Box
Not every burger needs the same box. A few things worth thinking through before you order:
Single vs. double or combo burgers. A slider or single-patty burger needs less internal clearance than a double-stacked or loaded burger. Choosing a box sized for your largest menu item helps avoid crushed buns or shifted toppings.
Dine-in vs. delivery. Boxes used for delivery generally benefit from a more secure closure and sturdier material, since they need to survive more handling and time in transit than a box opened right at the counter.
Structure. Clamshell-style boxes (hinged, with a locking closure) are the most common choice for burgers because they open and close easily while keeping the burger contained. If your menu includes fries or sides served alongside the burger, pair your order with our custom French fry boxes for a consistent, branded look across the full order, or ask about compartment layouts when you request your quote.
Sizes and Fit
Packaging Squad’s custom burger boxes range from slider-sized boxes up to double burger boxes, spanning 4″ x 4″ x 3″ (Small) to 7″ x 7″ x 4″ (XL).
As a general rule of thumb: a box that fits too tightly will compress the bun and squeeze out toppings, while a box that’s too large lets the burger shift during transport. When you request a quote, our team can help you match a size to your specific burger build.
